D Minor Pentatonic Scale

Construction

Fifth degree of the major pentatonic scale. This Minor Pentatonic scale is constructed by starting with the root note of D and following a the sequence of steps: W+H W W W+H W. The 'W' (whole step) means to skip a note, and the 'H' (half step), means to pick the very next note. The final step in the sequence will always end at the root note (one octave higher).
