Scales ยป Bb Major Pentatonic

Construction

5-note scale without the 4th and 7th notes of a traditional major scale. This Major Pentatonic scale is constructed by starting with the root note of Bb and following a the sequence of steps: W W W+H W W+H. The 'W' (whole step) means to skip a note, and the 'H' (half step), means to pick the very next note. The final step in the sequence will always end at the root note (one octave higher).
